FACILITIES & TECHNOLOGIES
As part of its development program, the cluster is continuously improving and expanding existing facilities and acquiring state-of-the-art research equipment to keep abreast with the research developments in entomology, plant pathology, and weed science.
The institute is equipped by teaching laboratories, lecture halls, a conference room, storage rooms, and staff offices. These laboratories are well equipped to conduct teaching in acarology, insect systematics, insect and plant pathology, insect physiology and biochemistry, insecticide toxicology, plant resistance, stored grains, pesticide residue, soil arthropod ecology, and biological control.
Special research facilities includes experimental farms, pesticide residue laboratory and biological control laboratory. These are supplemented by several greenhouses and the field experimental station.
The cluster has its own auditorium, dormitory and staff houses, and training room.
